2BHK Bungalow at Panvel, Mumbai

A 2BHK bungalow defined by warm tones, clean detailing and a restrained material palette

Designed around a warm and neutral palette, this 2BHK bungalow focuses on simplicity, comfort and carefully resolved details. Ivory finishes, natural wood, textured surfaces and subtle bronze accents come together to create interiors that feel light, cohesive and lived-in.

The design approach was to keep the space visually calm while adding character through materials and detailing rather than excessive elements. A consistent palette of ivory, beige and warm wood runs through the interiors, allowing each space to connect naturally with the next.

In the bedroom, the upholstered bed and softly textured feature wall form the main composition. Integrated lighting highlights the surfaces without overpowering them, while the neutral bedding and layered fabrics add softness to the otherwise clean architectural lines.

The wardrobe and dressing area continues the same material language. Full-height cabinetry is finished in a combination of ivory and wood, with open niches used selectively for display and everyday essentials. Fluted glass and bronze-finished framing help separate the spaces while still allowing light to pass through.

A small seating area by the window makes use of the natural light and creates an additional corner within the room. The furniture is deliberately kept soft and minimal, complementing the overall palette rather than becoming a separate visual statement.

The balcony extends this experience outdoors. Kept simple and functional, it provides a quiet sitting space while bringing daylight and openness into the interiors. Lighting has been integrated throughout the project as part of the design itself. Linear profiles, concealed lighting and focused downlights are used to define surfaces, highlight textures and create a comfortable ambience in the evening.

Details such as the textured wardrobe shutters, slim handles, fluted glass, patterned fabrics and coordinated bathroom finishes bring another layer to the project. Each element has been kept within the same visual language, resulting in a home that feels warm, balanced and cohesive.
